North Caroline Softball Advances to State Finals
The Preston Automotive Group would like to wish the North Caroline Lady Bulldogs softball team good luck when they play for the 2A Maryland State Championship at the University of Maryland on May 26th. These great athletes will go toe-to-toe with South Carroll for the right to call themselves the top 2A softball team in the State. The Lady Bulldogs have been absolutely dominating this year, reaching a jaw-dropping record of 23-0, including their most recent win coming in the State semi-finals against the Eastern Technical Mavericks at Bachman Park.
The contest was close, as the Bulldogs edged out the competition 3-2 behind the powerful bat of Megan Robbins and the speedy legs of Ali Ward. Robbins knocked in all three of those runs including Ward’s winning run. This huge win came after the Lady Bulldogs pulled out wins against powerhouses such as Queen Anne’s, Easton, and Rising Sun. Nissan Partners With Habitat for Humanity
Nissan is proud to be a part of Habitat for Humanity’s first nationwide campaign #HomeIsTheKey. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness and funds to improve society’s access to decent shelter. During the Month of April, for every single #HomeIsTheKey post on social media, Nissan will donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity, all the up to $250,000.
“Decent shelter is something we all need to thrive, and yet many in the U.S. still live in inadequate housing conditions, creating barriers to opportunity, success, stability and health,” says Colleen Finn Ridenhour, Senior Vice President of Development at Habitat for Humanity International. “We are grateful to Nissan for partnering with us in our efforts to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.”
We know that there is a critical need to address the housing issues in our society today. 2017 Mid-Shore March of Dimes
Preston Automotive Group is excited to be hosting the 2017 Mid-Shore March for Babies at our Preston Auto Complex. Back in 2003, the March of Dimes started the Prematurity Campaign in order to fund research, spread awareness, and support legislation that improves the chances that moms will have healthy babies. The campaign was made global in 2008. We are so happy to be part of that cause.
This year’s Mid-Shore March for Babies will have 3 sections to the walk; Celebrate, Hope and Remember. As we walk the Celebrate Mile, we will celebrate all the babies born prematurely who graduated out of the NICU. We will also celebrate the strength of their families. The Hope Mile we will bring hope to all the moms and babies by providing lifesaving research, programs, and breakthroughs. And the final mile is the Remember Mile where we will remember all the little ones that lost their fight. We will remember them as we walk through the Memory Garden.
Across the world, 15 million premature babies are born every year, 380,000 of which are born in the United States. This figure has been decreasing over the last several years, and a lot of it has to do with the March of Dimes raising funds and spreading the word about premature babies, plus their Folic Acid Campaign led to a dramatic reduction in brain and spine birth defects.

2017 Ford C-MAX in Preston

2020 may be the estimated time of arrival for the hybrid F-150, the 2018 F-150 will be the new face of tough. The bold new look is accented with a muscular new grille layout and a brand new embossed tailgate. Auto Start-Stop is now standard across the entire F-150 line-up, helping reduce the consumption of fuel and emissions when driving through the city. There will also be a brand new standard 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine, which is pair with a 10-speed transmission to improve acceleration and overall performance.
