This groundbreaking event holds special significance as it coincided with the 10th anniversary of the group's acquisition of the two Boulevard locations. Back in 2014, Preston acquired the two Boulevard stores, laying the foundation for what would become a decade-long journey of growth and success. Over the years, the group has continued to build upon its legacy, earning a reputation for excellence in the automotive industry. The new Boulevard Ford and Lincoln dealerships will share property with the current Preston Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store, creating an automotive hub that offers customers a comprehensive range of vehicles and services. The spacious 42,000-sq.ft. facility will include a large Ford Service Center with 30 service bays, including 8 for commercial vehicles, and 5 detail bays. The Lincoln dealership will feature updated design themes, including oversized glass windows for better visibility of the luxurious models at night and deluxe interior finishes reflecting the Lincoln brand. This expansion represents not only a significant investment in the local community but also a commitment to providing customers with an unparalleled automotive experience. After announcing that it will slowly move away from making cars, the Ford Motor Company also revealed it will become involved in the practice of engineering battery-powered electric vehicles. An article by Engadget states that this shift means that Ford’s trucks and SUV models are expected to have more battery space, a reduction in fuel usage/dependency and an increase in technological features. Preston Automotive Group is proud is announce that it will be honored as a community partner of the American Cancer Society at their Colors of Cancer banquet, which will be held April 2, 2016 at the Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, Maryland. Come join us and do your part to inspire hope in the fight against cancer. A whole night of incredible activities is planned, and we’re hoping to see you there! Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails from a cash bar will be served first at this high-class affair, starting around 6:30 pm. Some of the activities for the guests will be a prize-filled balloon, a 50/50 raffle, a chance to win a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA SUV, and a silent auction. There will be a number of fabulous prizes at the silent auction, including a sterling silver “Dancing Clef” 6mm blue topaz pendant, donated by Steve Shearer of Shearer the Jeweler. It is absolutely beautiful and is just one of the many prizes you’ll find at the auction. The meal begins at 7:30, where guests will sit and enjoy the delicious cuisine. Once 8 o’clock rolls around, the honorees will be presented with their awards; including ourselves, Michele Williams, and Patricia Plaskon. Brent Spurry and “Big” Don O’Brien will be serving as honorary chairs for the event, as they were selected by the Colors of Cancer Hometown Heroes Gala Committee for 2016. After dinner, we will wind down the evening with coffee and some delectable desserts, such as the now famous Colors of Cancer cupcake bar. We would like to thank not only the American Cancer Society for this honor, but also all the sponsors that made it happen. If you would like to attend this event, individual tickets are available for $75 per person and it costs $1,000 for a table of ten.
